If you see or hear ANY suspicious activity CALL 911.  Don't think you are wasting the police department's time.  They want us to call and report anything suspicious.  If it is suspicious to you it is something the police want to know and check out.  You don't have to leave your name.

New Fences!

Out with the grey and in with the wood.

New fences are being installed on the north and south sides.  The 6ft high cedar fences will have a natural wood look.  We will provide updates here so you will know approximately when your fence will be replaced.  We are working court by court.  Sometimes delays do arise which will affect the schedule.

As the old grey fences are taken down, we will keep good sections to be used as temporary replacements for existing old fences.  It really doesn't make fiscal sense for us to buy new wood for the old fences unless we absolutely have to.

We will also be repairing fences and tending to other maintenance requests such as light posts, seal coating & striping courts and common area property maintenance.

Lighting Up The Oaks

Light is one of the most important factors in deterring crime. If you notice any pole light which is not functioning properly, please call the Oaks Office to  have it repaired.

The Oaks takes care of everything having to do with the pole light serving your home!  We even replace the bulbs--all you have to do is call the Office at (630) 837-8160. 

We continually replace a lot of bulbs without calls since we do patrol the property at night and make note of lights that are out. However, it’s really easier if you just call the office at 837-8160 and report the outage. You can call anytime--there is 24 hour voice mail!

There are many components to the pole light system (bulbs, sockets, fuses, ballasts, wiring and transformers). The Association takes care of EVERYTHTNG. We can even go into your basement and replace worn out transformers, but you must be home for us to replace the transformer.

The most important thing is for each and every homeowner to make sure their post light is plugged in and functioning properly. 

Criminals hate lights!  It's true stop by the next neighborhood watch meeting and ask the Streamwood Police Officers who attend.

 

Monthly Assessments for 2011

The monthly assessments for 2011 are $170.00 per month, due the 1st of the month.  All residents have received a coupon book in the mail.  If you have any questions regarding this, please call the Office at (630) 837-8160.
